1.0 PRE-PRESSURIZING PROCESS (For non-cross linked type only)
|
The EPE and EPP materials are already in expanded form when delivered to MPC
side. Unlike EPS, HIPS and COPOLYMER, EPE and EPP do not contain any
blowing agent. Instead, the beads are impregnated with high pressure air which
will be used as the expansion gas during the moulding process.
|
After the material is pressured, product moulding follows. Pressured
air, steam and water are the only utilities needed during this process.
No chemicals are added. MPC adopted the KURTZ technology (GERMAN)
for their moulding process
|
3.0 CARTING AND DRYING / PRODUCT STABILIZING |
The moulded products are then placed/arranged in drying carts in immediately in
accordance to established carting instructions, and placed inside high-temp
drying rooms (about 70C) for about 24 hours. The shrinked/deformed
appearance of the product will improve upon the completion of the drying
process. Unlike EPS products, moulded EPE/EPPproducts MUST have undergo
this drying/stabilizing process.
|
4.0 PACKING AND WAREHOUSING |
The dried moulded products are then packed in accordance to established
Packing Instructions and then endorsed to the Finished Goods Warehouse
for storage.
